Desktop Publishing--Information Acquisition

The Information acuisition I chose for this Desktop publishing objective is The student acquires electronic information in a variety of formats, with appropriate supervision. The student is expected to:

"acquire information in electronic formats including text, audio, video, and graphics, citing the sources"

It is important to know how to use text, audio, video and graphics and be able to cite the sources from where this came from. There are different formats that can be used to cite sources. If you go to the Lamar State College-Orange website under the library site, you will be able to find examples. [Research and Documentation Online by Diane Hacker of Bedford/St. Martins Press (MLA, APA, Chicago and CSE citation styles)]

Here are a few websites to check out for citing sources.
